Storyboarding is part of the workflow that keeps my big idea's streamlined and on track. I start off with the seed of an image, a snippet of a sentence, or a vague theme and progress to an outline, a storyboard, and perhaps a handful of sketches that can be turned into generative art and video clips.
Book Cover Design
Illustrating book covers is an ideal way to compress complex idea's into a single image and convey the heart of a story with a quick glance.
The Process
Each cover is developed through an iterative concept refinement, balancing symbolism, typography, and composition to communicate the story’s essence - at a glance. Tools and workflow: • DALL·E and StarryAI for generative concept development • GIMP and Krita for post-processing and refinement • Canva for layout and typography • Traditional sketching for initial concept exploration
